Betsy Furler

Betsy Furler is a licensed speech-language pathologist with expertise in social language and reading intervention. With a deep passion for helping individuals unlock their full potential, Betsy specializes in utilizing speech and language strategies to support diverse learning needs, particularly for individuals with communication challenges. Her approach integrates the latest research in speech pathology and reading interventions to empower people by optimizing their strengths and addressing their unique needs.

Betsy is a sought-after speaker on topics including speech therapy, reading intervention, workplace accommodations, technology accessibility, and the importance of inclusivity. She has spoken at national and international conferences such as SXSW and SHRM and delivered a TEDx talk at Austin College in 2020.

She holds a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Austin College and a Master’s in Communication Disorders from UTDallas.
A proud mother of two boys, Henry and Sam, Betsy lives in Houston, TX, where she continues to advocate for the value of accessibility and inclusion in all aspects of life.
